Discussing the Pilot Implementation of Survalent's OMS System at Da Nang PC

On November 27, PC Da Nang cooperated with My Phuong Trading Co., Ltd and Survalent Firm to hold a meeting to discuss the implementation of the OMS pilot project on the Da Nang city grid

At the meeting, PC Da Nang introduced an overview of the power grid system as well as the technologies currently being deployed and applied effectively by the Company in recent years.

After the discussion, Mr. Young Ngo - Chief Technology Officer - a leading expert of Survalent (Canada) highly appreciated the progress in power grid automation technology of Da Nang PC, and wanted to propose practical currently piloting Survalent's OMS project on the city grid in the near future.

OMS (Outage Management System) is an advanced function of the SCADA Survalent application used to build a power management system provided to customers, build a management system for power data, call information from customers, and monitor power outages. OMS helps to integrate the system to read meter data remotely, locate the fault, and automatically calculate the impact of the outage caused by the problem to give a remedial direction. In addition, OMS is also capable of building a service management application for smart customers during power outages through automatic switchboards, analyzing customer data on the basis of geographical maps.

As chair of the meeting, Mr. Le Hong Cuong - President and Director of the Company would like to thank the two companies for their support in the projects implemented at PC Da Nang over the past time and look forward to further cooperation. PC Da Nang agreed to implement a pilot project of Survalent's OMS system in the near future.

OMS function is an important module in the smart grid development roadmap of Da Nang PC. After the meeting, the Company will focus on researching and evaluating the effectiveness of these functions in power grid operation in the coming time. On that basis, appropriate functions will be selected to pilot and operate on the Da Nang city grid.
