Since the beginning of September 2017, MPCO., LTD. has surveyed, evaluated, and supported the inspection of recloser equipment FXD -F6 controller on feeders participating in the distribution automation project under Tan Thuan Power Company.
In November 2017, after completing the Recloser test, My Phuong continued to train and configure SCADA for 31 feeders that met the technical requirements to participate in the FLISR (Fault Location Isolation and Service Restoration)- distribution automation program.
In early December 2017, MPCO's technical team coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Power Dispatch Center, Ho Chi Minh City Electrical Testing Company, and Tan Thuan Power Company to simulate more than 130 operating scenarios from basic to advanced for 31 automation feeds. The FLISR feature of Survalent software correctly executed the scenarios during the test, which helped the Tan Thuan grid operator team to be more confident in isolating and recovering from an fault, increasing the reliability of the project, and improving power and service quality for customers in District 7.
In early 2018, the work of evaluating, changing, and customizing the database construction and HMI operating interface was approved, and the distribution grid automation system of Tan Thuan Power Company was completed and officially put into operation in March 2018. Up to now, the automation system has been fully operational for more than 4 months and has had positive results for Tan Thuan Power's fault location, isolation, and restoration.
