In 2016, the Southern Power Corporation (EVN SPC) boldly implemented hotline repair technology and equipped 21 of its power subsidiaries with the necessary equipment. This technology is essential for the electricity industry in managing and operating the power grid, as it helps to increase labor productivity, prevent incidents, and reduce power losses.
Phase 1 (2016-2017):MPCo. provided EVN SPC with 6 sets of hotline tools for power companies in Binh Duong, Can Tho, Tien Giang, Dong Thap, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and Long An. The equipment included 117 items, covering a full scope to ensure that workers could easily operate, repair, and maintain the electricity grid safely. In September 2017, EVN SPC officially organized construction teams for the 6 regions: Binh Duong, Can Tho, Tien Giang, Dong Thap, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and Long An.
Phase 2 (2017-2018):At the end of September 2017, MPCo. continued to supply 7 more sets of hotline tools to power companies in An Giang, Ben Tre, Binh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, Ca Mau, Kien Giang, and Tay Ninh, again comprising 117 items.
