Phase 1:
From August 8 to August 12, 2016, My Phuong Trading Company deployed SCADA Survalent software technology transfer training for Da Nang Power Company under the contract of Construction project for Da Nang Control Center in 2016.
Immediately after the technology transfer training course, the Dispatch center of Da Nang Power Company cooperated with MPCO., LTD to build up the control center, connect SCADA with 110kV substations and equipment on the medium voltage grid through protocol IEC60870-5-101/104, DNP3.0. The control center has been completed and put into operation officially from the end of 2016 until now. Up to the second quarter of 2018, Da Nang Power Company has connected SCADA and remotely controlled for 11 220kV-110kV substations, 12 RMUs, and more than 110 devices on the medium voltage grid.
Phase 2:
Following the project of constructing the control center in 2016 along with the efforts to improve the reliability of power supply and quality of customer service, Da Nang PC continues to research and upgrade their OCC by investing a new function FLISR under The pilot project of distribution automation at Da Nang Power Company. On January 10, 2018, Da Nang PC successfully tested and officially operated the distribution automation system for feeder 471/Ngu Hanh Son 220 and 472/ Ngu Hanh Son 220. This project includes 02 feeders and 05 Recloser. These are two overhead medium voltage lines with loop connections (open operation) through MC 471 Dong Tra, supplying power to loads on the route connecting Da Nang and Hoi An cities; including important loads such as Obstetrics - Pediatrics Hospital, Ngu Hanh Son District Hospital, Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee...
The successful implementation of the project contributes to promoting the roadmap of building and replicating the smart grid solution for the whole city of Da Nang.
