In July 2017, My Phuong Company provided 6 capacitor banks to supply and transport 110kV and VTTB capacitor banks under the project of installing horizontal capacitors on the regional transmission grid in the North. The total installed capacity of the capacitors at the substations is 300 MVAr, invested by National Power Transmission Corporation (EVN NPT) and project management represented by PTC1.
5 substations were installed with capacitor banks, including 220kV Phu Ly substation (Ngoc Son - Kim Bang - Ha Nam commune); 220 kV Kim Dong substation (Toan Thang commune, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province); 500 kV Thuong Tin substation (Hoa Binh commune, Thuong Tin, Hanoi); Ba Che 220 kV substation (Thieu Van commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province); Bim Son 220 kV substation (Bac Son ward, Bim Son town, Thanh Hoa province). At Thuong Tin 500kV Station, 2 sets were installed.
